The S-VIEW system is designed to fit seamlessly into the DVD authoring
and production process. First, content is created and authored using standard
DVD authoring tools. Then an order is placed into the S-VIEW system, defining
the specific individuals who will be allowed to view the selected content.
The authored content is then passed through the FEWS workstation which
performs the encryption and watermark pre-processing. Finally, the encrypted
DVD disc image is sent to a replication facility for standard pressing.
The resulting DVDs will only play on the SV300s authorized in the original
order.
